David has over 51 years experience in Quantity Surveying - a career that has taken him around the world including secondments to overseas projects in Libya, Scotland, and Australia and a contract role in Japan. David has now brought his vast knowledge and experience to Johnstone Construction where he is our Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Initially working for Johnstone Construction in a temporary role, David proved to be an invaluable asset to the QS team, so they snapped him up as a permanent member. David was delighted to join the team.

David has worked on an array of projects both in New Zealand and abroad resulting in his being a Professional Associate of RICS from 1976 to 2016.

When he’s not undertaking QS work on Johnstone Construction projects David gives back to the community through volunteer work in Red Cross stores.
